Peace by Piece: Unlearning Racial bias by Querida Duncalfe is an interactive book that engages readers to catalyze longstanding change for people in marginalized communities ( with a focus on Black Americans). We were tasked with creating a book cover that communicated ideas of peacefulness, without bias to gender, and the symbolic act of coming together.

Design, Illustration, Typography: Koré Siller Ramos
Solution
The final solution was a combination of typographic manipulation and illustration. The olive branches, delicately drawn, frame the text which is coming together letter by letter and piece by piece.
